Abstract
The finds of medieval gothic floor tiles in the area of ruined monastery in Benešov u Prahy - Karlov and in destroyed fortified manor in Martinice u Votic are related by the depiction of a rider. Paying attention to the details of motives is in both cases assumable, that the subject of scene is medieval tournament.
Particulary the couple of floor tiles from Benešov, due to the presence of coats of arms, presents still unique find. The floor tile from fortified manor in Martinice is the evidence of high standard of furnishings in interior of a small nobleman and the support of local distribution of products from Milevsko monastery's as well.
