Human physiology allows implementation of various practical activities, e.g. inquiry tasks. The inquiry is often discussed as innovative way for science education because it promotes students' active involvement in the teaching-learning process as well as the growth of practical activities during the lessons.
This paper introduces the inquiry tasks related to human sensory system, specifically combination of single senses in recognizing the taste of food and drinks. The worksheet for lower-secondary pupils is available on the link provided at the end of this paper.
The proposed task has been verified in practice and it is suitable practical activity possibly used in biology lessons.
