Relations between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union were not just political in nature, ties in the field of culture also existed. A whole range of czechoslovakian organizations used to mantain and develop these relations.
Some of these organizations were founded directly with the aim to establish and keep mutual cultural relations between Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. Others carried out these activities indirectly.
The goal of this paper is to introduce these organizations and their activities in the historical and political context of the 1930s.
