Practice of district courts in the application of support measures in case of impairment of the adult's ability to act legally in connection with the implementation of Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

Abstract

The article summarizes the results of the Ombudsman's research on decisions on support measures. Between 2019 and 2020, the Ombudsman's Office analyzed 256 decisions from all district courts in the Czech Republic, especially with regard to the fulfillment of obligations under Article 12 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
