Abstract
The present invention provides a method of breast cancer diagnostics, in particular diagostics of primary breast cancer, from a sample of apocrine sweat. This method determines the logarithm of the value expressing the amount of at least one marker in a sample of apocrine sweat taken from the patient's body, the marker being selected from a group of markers identified within the Framework of the invention, and an evaluation of the logarthm of the value expressing the amount of the at least one marker in the sample of apocrine sweat in relation to logarthms of the values of this marker determined for persons suffering from breast cancer and for persons not suffering from breast cancer allows to make a diagnostic conclusion consisting in assigning the patient into the group of persons suffering from breast cancer, or the group of persons not suffering from breast cancer.
The evaluation usually includes the use of mathematical-statistical methods.
