The paper presents the results of research that can be sought, which teaching methods, mainly organized teaching and activities carried out in class, students expect when looking at education as satisfactory. Action research was chosen to examine the issue.
The individual steps were implemented according to the model of Kemmis and McTaggart, which consists of a cyclical process comprising three phases: action, evaluation and reflection (Kemmis and McTaggarat, 2014). The results of the research show that students beneficially evaluated all teaching methods, activities and organizational forms of work, where they could choose independently from the assigned tasks, from the differentiated difficulties of the tasks and from a number of alternative topics.
An important factor is also the possibility of discussion, problem solving and cooperation with classmates.
