Abstract

The study deals with the analysis of literary images of the Holocaust in novels for young people by the German author Mirjam Pressler. It focuses on the description of life in the ghetto.

The aspect of cultural identity is relevant. Attention is paid to feelings of loneliness and human cohesiveness and their projection into the characteristics of the protagonists and the storyline of the stories.
