Abstract
In the second half of the 1990s, a skier was injured in the Krkonoše resort when, after getting off the chairlift, she slipped on a layer of ice on the ascent platform and then fell from the ascent platform onto the slope, causing a lumbar vertebral fracture. The case describes the considerations and conclusions of the courts and concludes with recommendations for cableway operators.
