Phraseology As a Means of Cultural Dialogue in the Teaching of Russian

Abstract

The paper deals with the possibilities of using phraseology in Rus-sian language teaching both during the process of creating communicative competence of the pupils and while presenting Russian national culture and its particularities. The introductory part delimits the dialogue of cultures, its position in the foreign language teaching and it reflects the role of a teacher in it.

It also presents the criteria of the choice of suitable phrasemes and the principles of the work with phraseological material while teaching Russian as a closely related language and a related Slavonic culture.
