Abstract
Long-term increasing migration creates new demands on cities and regions of the Czech Republic. Until recently, the local level is crucial for well-managed integration.
The conference Support for the Integration of Migrants at the Local Level provides a comprehensive view of the situation of local integration of migrants in the Czech Republic. In key areas of integration, it focuses on the long-term development of the topic, present challenges, opportunities and successes.
The main findings presented are based on the results of the three-year City and Inclusive Strategy project. The conference brings the experience of local governments and also deals with the current possibilities of using data sources on integration.
The topic of local integration of migrants is conceived in a broader context and brings a comparison of the situation from an international perspective and foreign experience.
