This overview (devoted to the 100th Anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Science of the Charles University in Prague) is focused on the results of the UNESCO Laboratory of Environmental Electrochemistry in the field of the development of new electrode materials for both cathodic and anodic processes and their electroanalytical applications,of new flow-through electrochemical detectors for HPLC, FIA and BIA (batch injection analysis), and of DNA sensors and biosensors and their electroanalytical applications.
