Educational games represent one of the methods of activating pupils, which form an integral part of the modern concept of teaching. The presented text provides the reader with several ways of including educational games in the chemistry teaching.
Firstly, it is focused on defining the concept of an educational game and introducing selected classifications of educational games. The second part provides an analysis of the importance of educational games in teaching based on a research of studies in this area.
The largest part is devoted to the practical implementation of games in the teaching, including the process of selecting a game, its creation and methodical preparation. The text also includes a set of examples of specific educational games usable in chemistry teaching.
