Reported speech in Karel Havlíček's correspondence

Abstract

The study focuses on the use of the verb to say (and partly also some other verbs) as well as the particle prý/prej (meaning "allegedly") in the reported speech used in the correspondence of Karel Havlíček (1821-1856).
