The paper deals with current transformation of physical education within the pandemia of Covid-19 disease. Predominantly, the paper is focused on the conception of physical education in Czech Republic during the emergency state and on the comparation of physical education with other school subjects.
Further, the paper is focused on the reflection of physical education status among other school subjects and on its perception by Czech population. The findings are that there is visible a widespread effort to maintain physical education even if the Covid-19 pandemia lasts, but the conception of education is not satisfyiyng and the real status of physical education in Czech society manifests itself.
