Abstrakt

Developing of speed and explosive power is a difficult training goal and task. The aim of the article is to present an example of speed and explosive power training, which is used for junior canoe slalom paddlers and which could be also used for high school students.

In the model training is used contrast method, which is based on the quick change of the weight (resistance) size. The model training is generally focused on the speed and explosive power of the upper limbs and trunk muscles.
