Abstract
The paper contains a systematic interpretation of the concept of a legal institute of a close person, as well as other related terms (relative, sibling, spouse, registered partner, person in-law, etc.). Attention is also paid to a comprehensive interpretation of the term household and its use across the entire text of the Civil Code.
