Abstract
The Czech sociologist I. Schubrt seeks to identify the problems of scientific and social research and the reasons for the emergence of the "conceptual labyrinth" of modern sociological theory, to bring some clarity to the current position of theoretical sociology.
The monograph under review is a collection of essays, which demonstrates a variety of methodological approaches and the interdisciplinary nature of research using the example of reconstruction of key ideas of modern sociological theories.
