Abstract
The article focuses on the creation of materials for teaching in culturally and linguistically heterogeneous classes. The activity used in the workshop with the same title is described in detail; the activity was used for illustrating the ideas and the participants developed it further.
The aim of the workshop was to show the participating teachers that creating mathematical problems with multicultural contents can be not only simple but also interesting and exciting.
