Abstract
The entry contains an overview and description of the main elements of international conventions in the field of postal services, including multilateral intergovernmental conventions establishing international organizations in this field, such as the Universal Postal Union UPU, which is the United Nations specialized agency, and the Conference of European Postal and Telecommunications Administrations CEPT; these organizations have a major influence in the field of postal standardization. The text also includes the definition of the bodies of the Czech Republic active in the field of postal services in international relations.
