Abstract
The article is dedicated to ethnographic show that took place in Prague in 1880 and whose protagonists were two Inuit families from Labrador. It maps the mutual stereitypization of the Inuit and the inhabitants of Prague and the contemporaneous reflectoon of the tragic ending of the show, whose participants died on smallpox.
