Abstract

The aim of the article is in the first place to verify the thesis established by the name itself. Can opening up justice boost public confidence in the judiciary? Related to this is another question that the article answers, and that is whether we need open justice at all today.

Arguments are also observed on the basis of analyzes of global phenomena and examples from international practice, which can serve as inspiration for specific changes in the Czech Republic. The description of the current situation of Czech justice is then the most important passage of the text.

Within the framework, the text also aspires to initial examples of specific ways of opening up the Czech judiciary, which will present their benefits and risks.
