Abstract
Greek art shaped European cultural history like no other. The ancient Greeks depicted gods and heroes, important figures of their past, as well as public and private scenes in the visual art: on the decorated vases or in the sculpture.
These influenced vice versa the social and political life of the Greeks - and for the first time, they became an instrument of propaganda.
