The coronavirus pandemic has significantly affected all areas of modern society and changed the communication between society and politics. The coronavirus and the restrictions associated with it (self-isolation, quarantine, lockdown) have been one of the main topics in global political discourse for a year nowadays.
The coronavirus epidemic has influenced the way of interaction and cooperation between countries and regions: measures taken to fight the virus in some countries affect the incidence of the population not only in the definite state and border regions, but also on the epidemiological situation around the world. Therefore, one of the problems of contemporary political discourse is the way the coronavirus is presented (the reasons for its occurrence, prevention and consequences) in public.
