Abstract
This article summaries the results of recent research about blessed premonstratensian Hroznata (+ 14. 7. 1217), who was proclamed the patron saint of the new diocese in Pilsen in 1997 and seven years later innitiated Hroznata canonisation proces. As an important part of contemporary canonisation is the historical research into the life of a candidate, which is described in this article.
