Abstract
The singspiel by the Czech-Viennese composer Josef Bárta "Da ist nicht gut raten" (libreto: Johann Gottlieb Stephanie Jr.) was put on, for the first time in Czech translation, on 25 June 2019 in the Horácké theater in Jihlava. The opera had its premiere on 8 August 1778 in the Burgtheater in Vienna.
The plot of the singspiel is set in Cochinchina, a Southern region of Vietnam.
