Abstract
In cooperation with the festival, we created a streaming and podcast online studio 4x4LIVE. The study program focuses on the issue of contemporary education from the perspective of its main actors.
We have created for you seven broadcasting circuits based on topics that directly or indirectly touch on the phenomenon of education. We would like to reflect here the suggestions and observations, especially from students and teachers, but also other participants in the educational process.
The studio can be found on the premises of the New Strašnice School. It is an open platform to which we invite visitors from the general and professional public.
They have the opportunity to meet our moderators and guests in person at the festival, or participate in the broadcast online. The broadcast itself is performative in nature and its aim is to create an audiovisual recording for the podcast archive.
We see the podcast as one of today's key information sharing tools, as narration in many different formats. This year's theme of the accompanying program of the 4 + 4 Days in Motion festival is education.
We would like to expand the topic into a virtual space, in which there will be a parallel discussion focused on stimuli based on debates about contemporary education. The current societal situation caused by the COVID-19 viral disease forces us to look for new ways and forms of education.
It is a ubiquitous process that we can often miss.
