The onset of the coronavirus epidemic in the world, as in the Czech Republic, represented a step change in the long-term development of a society often based on daily and weekly routine processes (Giddens, 1984). The reactions of governments, society, companies and other actors changed the behavior of individuals in a quick time, which set each resident a new perspective on the space-time organization of the day, changing priorities in visiting services, spending free time or social interaction.
The need for research on current mobility has become one of the key analytical tools for responding to a pandemic. The advantage of today's technical company is the already common collection of online data and their evaluation.
In addition to the purely applied form of these analyzes, several studies have been published comparing not only location data of mobile operators but also big data from social networks, aggregated location services of map portals and other data sources (eg Grantz et al., 2020; Huang et al. , 2020). The main goal of the specialized map is to provide a unique picture of the population's reaction to the period of the so-called first wave of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic in the spring of 2020 in the Czech Republic by changing their mobility behavior.
Using commuter currents over a period of several weeks, the analysis monitors the importance of the measures introduced and their subsequent dismantling of overall and regionally differentiated mobility in the Czech Republic.
