Abstract
The analysis of Comenius´ early work ?Account and Instruction on Preaching? shows on the one hand that Comenius stands in the homiletical tradition of the Unity of Czech Brethren, but on the other hand brings a new methodical approach, i.e. full attention for the literary and rhetorical structure of a Biblical text.
