Acute liver failure and hypoglycaemia in a patient with type 1 diabetes mellitus

Abstract

Hypoglycaemia is one of the side effects of antidiabetic drugs, and liver insufficiency is oneof its risk factors. A case report of a type 1 diabetes patient who experienced repeated hypo-glycaemias during an exacerbation of chronic liver insufficiency based on ethylic cirrhosis ispresented.
