Abstract
A new check-list of rotifers (Rotifera) of the Czech Republic is presented after almost 60 years following the monograph of BARTOŠ (1959). Faunistic data from mostly unpublished sources were complemented by the author's findings.
Classification was checked according to the latest developments. In total, the list includes 574 species belonging to 93 genera of Rotifera recorded in the Czech Republic up to the present (May 2019). 391 species and another 15 genera are supposed to be present but have not been detected yet.
Invalid names and synonyms of species and genera are mentioned to help the user with old literature work, which is connected with the large index. The paper also attempts to create Czech names of some rotifer genera.
