Abstract

Compared to high school studies, higher education places different demands on students in many respects. Therefore, it is desirable that students with specific learning difficulties (SLD) can follow up on high school support measures and that new studies modifications can be applied reflecting these higher education demands and characteristics of a specific study program.

In this paper, we will focus on the issue of counselling services for university students with SLD. In our presentation, we will describe the picture of difficulties, the process of diagnostics, and an overview of the most frequently recommended support measures for students with SLD.

We will also present case studies mapping long-term work with clients in the development of study strategies.
