Abstract
The author introduces the mission of Visegrad Music Group (VMG) within the context of European Association for Music Education in Schools (EAS). He approaches the significance and history of their activities.
He deals with the mission of Visegrad doctoral conferences "Theory and Practice of Music Education". He also approaches significant documents of EAS such as the "Charter of Music Education in Comprehensive Schools across Europe" and the results of the project MeNet from 2009 about music education in the EU.
It presents the most important conclusions of the scientific colloquium "Music, Brain Plasticity and Learning" from 2018 in Marseilles (France).
