Abstract

The paper, presented at a section of the Czech Dyslexia Association, presents preliminary outcomes of the GAUK project, which is focused on written outputs of children from 3rd to 5th grades. The paper presents methodological approaches of the research, developed tools and methods of assessing written output assignments - built on short story completion, active and passive synonym comprehension and text paraphrasing.

Another key aspect of the paper was monitoring statistical parameters of the developed tools, validation criterium being the tools of literacy skills evaluation.
