Abstract
Alphabet of Czech Culture is a contemporary, explicit, understandable, and user-friendly source of information about the Czech cultural treasures, national and linguistic heritage. The main outcome is based on an online database and software, and has form of web portal and application for mobile devices, i.e. interactive maps with selected cultural, linguistic and social heritage - an "alphabet of Czech culture".
These results can be applied both in teaching of foreigners who will be integrated into the Czech society, and for continuous improving of the knowledge of foreigners who are permanently settled or have long-term residence in the Czech Republic. This project will also offer corresponding texts according to the level of knowledge of Czech (Basic Czech and Advanced Czech), accompanied with sound, as well as with two language versions of the content - English and Russian for foreigners who do not have sufficient language skills.
