Abstrakt
The proposed incremental heuristic facility location algorithm (IHFL) uses the hybrid constrained pseudometric, formed by the linear combination of the Euclidean metric and a pseudometric plus penalty. Generated clusters are concentrated along regions with the variable curvature and diluted in flat regions; this technique has many practical applications: adaptive simplification of dense point clouds, sharp edges, breaklines or plane detection.
The software has been implemented in C++ language.
