The integration of immigrants from the perspective of Czech immigration law

Abstract

Since summer 2015 at the latest, Europe has been under the impression of an acute migration crisis.1 Within a few weeks and months, hundreds of thousands of people, especially from the Middle East and Africa, streamed into Europe.2 The destination was mostly those EU member states that offered the newcomers the best Prospects with regard to their integration into the labor market, family reunification, residence status and, last but not least, state social benefits.
