Abstract
The portal summarizes knowledge about sustainable development in a form that can be used in practice - it serves actors at the regional level, especially the Local Action Groups. The portal is accessible as an open source for education and further use by actors outside academia (Creative Commons license), within the Enviwiki knowledge base, which is a widely visited source of environmental information for students and the public.
The use of the Portal is promoted within the National Network of Local Action Groups, it is intended to serve for lifelong learning. The resources gathered here also serve for interdisciplinary dialogue at various levels.
