Abstract

An article from the series of case-focused topics "Skiing in court" describes the discussion of a specific case in court. In January 2002, a six-year-old skier was injured while boarding a children's ski lift.

The rope pulled her into the tow gear and de facto the thumb of her right hand amputated. The ski lift operator was subsequently sued.
