Abstract
The presented book contains a set of papers that are based on the lectures dedicated to the German culture (and literature) of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, that took place in the framework of the Literary Forum organized by the Institute of Czech Literature of the Czech Academy of Sciences. The volume is divided in two parts: the first part is more general and contextualizing while the second one contains the case studies dedicated to particular topics or writers.
Chapter "Management of the Czech Media during the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia " by Jan Cebe demonstrates the persvasive nature of control mechanisms in the field of media that reach deep into the fabric of society.
