The present case study analyses the response to the trial of Rudolf Slánský and alleged conspirators of an anti-state conspiracy center, whose Jewish origin presented to the public caused a wave of anti-Semitism throughout the society. The study deals with the thematization of the Jewish origin of the defendants and monitors the work with such terms as Jew, anti-Zionism, anti-Semitism and others on the Rudé právo pages in the period from late 1951 to late 1953.
The relationship with the state of Israel, whose inclination towards US policy was one of the most important moments in the development of the entire anti-Semitic campaign in Rudé právo, is also monitored.
