Television broadcasters, if so requested by state authorities and local public administration authorities or by crisis management authorities, are obliged to provide such authorities in urgent public interest with the broadcasting time needed for specified announcements according to the Radio and Television Broadcasting Act, s. 32 (1) (k), and to publish certain information according to the Crisis Management Act, s. 30, respectively. The objective of this paper is to analyse aforesaid obligations and to compare them.
Furthermore, the paper seeks to examine how both institutes are used in connection with the covid-19 pandemic.
