Abstract
This study focuses on the specifics of the piano accompaniment of the musical instruments of the lower register (the bassoon, the French horn, the trombone, the tuba, the violoncello, the double bass). Its aim is to create an overview of the most important specifics in sound and dynamics of these instruments in order for the pianist to be able to more easily identify and analyse problems when studying the piano part in context of achieving perfect balance of sound and to be able to accompany the soloist as well as possible.
