Abstract

A paper for the international conference "Infection and Toxicity in Early Modern English Literature and Culture", Shakespeare and his Contemporaries 2021, the IASEMS Graduate Conference at The British Institute of Florence. The paper concentrated on the images of disease in Shakespeare's Coriolanus and the disintegration of body politics.
