Abstract

The collisions of slow electrons with atoms and molecules have been successfully studied using the nonlocal resonance model in numerous molecular systems. However, the use of the nonlocal model has been mostly limited to one-dimensional models.

We present our ongoing efforts to extend the use of the nonlocal resonance model to multidimensional systems and the application of the theory to vibrational excitation of HNCO.
