Abstract
The Kingdom of Urartu is undoubtedly part of the Armenian past and yet for more than 2000 it has been forgotten for humanity. Its often very thorny path back to the history of our civilization was not without various obstacles and detours.
Today, however, many international projects dedicated to Urartu are already underway, and selected ones will be mentioned and presented in more detail. New information concerns religion, funeral engraving, war architecture, etc.
