The definition of the term outdoor mathematics is a starting point for the didactics of alternative mathematics teaching. The didactics of outdoor mathematics presents the types of outdoor lessons, their incorporation into didactic structures, evaluation of effectiveness, meaningfulness of outdoor lessons, supplemented by possible forms and methods of work specifically for the park terrain near the Broumov monastery.
The difference between the modern and outdated concept of outdoor mathematics is presented on the method of contrast, and its pitfalls are also mentioned. In the last part of the booklet there are ideas for further activities in the field and recommended literature.
