Abstract
This text analysis Iranian security strategy. It looks at how Iran uses a hybrid warfare when promoting its goals.
It focuses on the use of both conventional and non-conventional military tools, open and hidden military campaigns, and activities of both the military and pro-Iranian proxies - state and non-state actors alike. Iran's goal is deterrence, pressure, as well as subversive actions.
An important element of Iran's hybrid style of warfare is an ability to deny responsibility and as such to minimize a possibility of an open military strike with an opponent.
