IAMCR: Understanding, Inclusion and Diversity: Interview with Nico Carpentier, the new President of the International Association for Media and Communication Research (in Chinese)
Abstrakt
In this academic interview, Professor Nico Carpentier introduced the history, purpose and future development of the International Association for Media and Communication Research, and emphasized its understanding as a global and critical academic organization. At the same time, he also commented on the interdisciplinary phenomenon of communication research, advocating to embrace the interdisciplinary characteristics of communication research with a post-disciplinary perspective.
In addition, he also analysed the impact of the new COVID epidemic on human communication and academic exchanges, and looked forward to the 2022 Beijing Annual Conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research, and believed that this is a good opportunity for Chinese and foreign scholars to engage in academic exchanges.
