Abstract
The study is devoted to the beginnings and destinies of the State Archival School, the oldest Czech school that educated qualified archivists, until its abolition in 1949.. The author focused mainly on the most important personalities who worked at the school and guaranteed the content and quality of teaching, mostly the school directors and secretary.
