Detection of insufficient effort during neuropsychological testing has become a widely investigated topic in psychological research and clinical practice. The detection of insufficient effort is crucial when interpreting the results of neuropsychological methods in differential diagnostic evaluation.
Effort during neuropsychological testing can be investigated either by stand-alone measures of effort or by embedded measures that are part of comprehensive neuropsychological test batteries. The present study focused on the embedded measures of effort.
